LAUTECH Tuition Increase : Alumnus Urged Concerned Citizens To Rescue Poor Masses

The Alumnus of ladoke Akintola University Of Technology  has on Wednesday  appealed to the concerned citizens in the country to come their rescuers and save the soul of the poor masses who cannot afford the tuition hike in the institution.

The alumnus who condemned the action  of the two Governors that owned the institution for not giving her citizens the best of education they deserved calls on destiny rescuers to assist the students to avoid dropout of school.

According to a statement Signed by Adebayo Olamide, LAUTECH Alumnus the two governor that owned the institution Abiola Ajimobi and Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has failed to provide proper education for the poor masses under their regime stressing that they benefited from free education but makes education Unaffordable for its citizens.

While reacting to the recently tuition fees hike, Olamide said the act is nothing but a mere instance like a pogroms which could never come into play without the criminal lapses and lecklesness of the of the govement with their ”  shameless act of turning all available heritage to a business venture.

I do not have heart for such neither will i as a concerned person/ alumnus pretend to agree with the government of the day for the evil and preposterous act masked to execute through the school management.

”The act i would say is nothing but a mere instance like a pogrom which could never come into play without the criminal lapses and recklessness of government with their shameless act of turning all available heritage to a business venture. The earlier the govement know education shouldn’t be a business the better for them.

” thus, in a way affirming to us that recrimination and counter-recrimination have put a stamp on the notion that Nigeria is truly a failed state under All Progressive Congress (APC) and those that still think otherwise to proclaim the sanctity and greatness of Nigeria  are welcome to their dreamland”

”As far as education is concerned in Nigeria of today under APC led government, life of students is tough, rough, uncertain and sad. Hopes of yesterday have been dashed, hope for a better tomorrow is bleak”

Despite the striking days, months and years, students of my alma mata were patient alot and patiently they’ve always looked up to the government perhaps for the much-touted dividends of democracy but rather, the reward they got was the hike in tuition fees with no recourse where governors of both states who ought to have proffered a lasting solutions all these while were busy wasting money on frivolities, elections and reelections but chose to reward the poor students loyalty, steadfastness and perseverance with exuberant school fees increments. Alas, their wards and families walks in exotic cars / bikes, breathtaking architecture of mansions, etc.

Olamide therefore called on the concerned well meaning and destiny rescuers to help mediate to save the soul of the poor masses as they can’t afford to add tallies to dropout.

”As a very concerned alumnus of the great citadel of learning, i do call on all well meaning and destiny rescuers to please help mediate to save the soul of the poor masses as we can’t afford to add tallies to dropout figures we’ve got in our immediate environment”.
