The Atiku Abubakar Southwest Caucus has expressed rude shock over the sudden death of one of its eminent patrons, Professor Olu Agbi.
This commiseration was signed and made public by Abdulsalami Olaitan, the Secretary, Atiku Abubakar Southwest Assembly.
The group condoled the wife of Late Professor Agbi, and his immediate family as well as the Peoples Democratic Party Family in Ondo State on the demise of the Icon.
“It beats our expectation that Prof Agbi who was part of the PDP presidential primaries held in Portharcourt, Rivers State where His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar GCON emerged will be dead so soon.
“The Late Professor was a highly resourceful member of our organization whose contributions to our ideal of One Nigeria can not be underestimated.
“The memory of the late Professor shall remain fondly in our hearts; we take solace in the fact that Professor Agbi ensured during his lifetime that the World was not where he met it with his monumental achievements and promotions of human development.
“Professor Agbi will forever be missed by Everybody and we pray to God Almighty to grant his soul, an eternal rest. May God abide with the Children and his surviving Families,” the statement reads.
