Court Remands Woman, Others For Alleged Ritual In Osun

 An Osogbo Chief Magistrates’  Court in Osun State has on  Tuesday  remanded a 23-year – old woman,  Salako Medinat and two men  in an Ilesa prison custody for  allegedly defrauding man an amount of 1.1million with intent to provide charms that will him rich.  
Police arraigned Medinat on Tuesday alonge  side Azeez Abdulsamad, 23, and Nasirudeen Aranse,25,  on three count charge bothering on Advance free Fraud,  money ritual 
The Magistrate, Mrs Modupe Awodele, had ordered that the defendants be remanded due to the magnitude of the alleged offense committed.
The Prosecutor, ASP Fagboyinbo Abiodun, had told the court that the defendants committed the offense on Aug.28 at Nipco Filling Station ,Osogbo.
Abiodun said the trio with others at large conspired among themselves to defraud one Afolabi Kayode the total sum of N1 million and fifty thousand (1,50,000). 
He said the defendants defrauded the complainant with intent to provide charms to him in order to be rich.
The Prosecutor said the offense contravened sections 8(1) ,1(3) of the advance fee fraud and section 390(9) of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11 laws of Osun, 2003.
The plea of the defendants were not taken by the court clerk.
The Magistrate, however, adjourned the case to Nov. 23 for mentioned.
