The nomination of Mr. Benedict Olugboyega Alabi as the deputy Governornorship candidate in the September 22 election in Osun state under the ruling All Progressives Congress has been commended.
A sociopolitical group, Team Support Bola (TSB) thanked the leadership of the APC and described their choice of Alabi as well thought out, rightful and putting a round peg in a round hole.
TSB also hailed and lauded the courage of the state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for allowing the party leaders to nominate a seasoned professional and astute administrator as running mate to Alahji Gboyega Oyetola.
In a statement issued and released by the group’s publicity secretary, Mr Alao Waheed, a copy of which was made available to Amiloaded in Osogbo on Wednesday, there is an assurance that the joint ticket of Oyetola and Alabi would fetch Osun unprecedented transformation.
TSB therefore asked the people of the state to vote for APC during the poll.
The group also urged people of the state to shun those it described as “illiterate politicians who do not have anything to offer” saying that only educated fellow could educate others.
It charged all members of APC members in the state to collect their PVCs in order to be able to vote.
Meanwhile, the commissioner for Finance in the state, Alh Bola Oyebamiji has expressed confidence in Alabi’s capacity to deliver on his assignment.
The commissionee said he had known alabi to be a man of substance coupled with his integrity, knowledge and wealth of experience in both public and private sectors for years.
