Ex-Nigerian Youth Parliament Member, Adeyeye, Vies For APC Deputy National Youth Leader

A former member of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, ‘Demola Adeyeye has indicated interest to contest for the position of Deputy National Youth Leader of the ruling All  Progressives Congress at the National Convention of the party slated for June 23.

Adeyeye, of Ijeda/Iloko Ward 11, Oriade Local Government Are of Osun state declared that he has the requisite experience and competencies to vie and win the race.

In a statement he issued to Amiloaded on Wednesday, Adeyeye, who represented Osun East Senatorial District in the Nigerian Youth Parliament between 2011 and 2015 also  served as the Spokesperson of the House and Chairman of the Committee on Media and Publicity.

Canvassing votes and supports from the party members,  Adeyeye said,  “I crave your support and mentorship as I believe I have the requisite youthful political qualifications from my national involvements in the Nigerian Youth Parliament and within the ranks of the Party to lead the youths of our great party to a new dawn.

“I possess excellent written and spoken language power; great human relations and communication skills; I am a team player and easily adaptable; I have the ability to deliver under minimal supervision; I have computer proficiency.

“I have keen interest in Hausa, Spanish and the legislature; a major affection for youth development as well as a physical and mental alertness to work and learn within political circles towards a properly governed society.”
