Quoting the holy bible, Adagunodo said “nobody can claim to love God without first showing that same love to his/her fellow human beings around,” he opined.

He reiterated that Jesus taught his disciples that “the love for yourself begins with the love for fellow human beings” and he said “that it was demonstrated by Jesus Christ who offered himself for the salvation of all humanity without discrimination.”

He also advise them that the 40 days of fasting and prayer that preceded Easter symbolizes discipline and spirit of sharing the feelings of the less privileged members of the society and this simply tells us to share whatever we have with others who are in need. Fasting symbolizes what some people are passing through in life. Let’s feel what others feel and try to ameliorate their sufferings,” he advised.

Adagunodo said we should not wait till we become millionaires before we can share what we have with others because “if a man can’t share out of twenty Naira, it will be difficult for him, to share, even if he becomes a billionaire because that orientation begins with little sharing.
