Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has advised the major opposition party in the state to ensure that its Saturday’s ward primary elections do not disrupt the peace the state is currently enjoying.
This advice came as APC ordered its members in the state to steer clear of the PDP’s primary elections venues and avoid having contact with any member of the party while the poll lasts.
In a statement signed by the APC Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, and made available to Amiloaded on Friday in Osogbo, Famodun said the order became necessary in order to ensure that Osun remained peaceful.
Accorsing to Prince Famodun, “members of APC are to stay away from the venues, and avoid contact with the PDP members at the centres at all cost.”
“The state has been peaceful and PDP members should do everything possible not to disrupt it.
