Progressive Governors of Nigeria converged in Kebbi today for a Federal Government Parley on policy synergy to ensure development.
Acting President Prof Yemi Osinbajo is joined by key ministers of agriculture Chief Dr. Audu Ogbeh, finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, education Mallam Adamu Adamu; Gen. Mohammed Babagana Monguno (Rtd), the National Security Adviser and Mrs. Maryam Uwais, the Special Adviser to Mr. President on Social Investment Programme.
The acting president is also expected to commission the WACOT rice mill. The first Rice Mill CONCEIVED, CONSTRUCTED & COMMISSIONED in the Buhari Administration. Construction started in 2016 with full support from the Kebbi state Government.
The mill supports a network of over 50,000 rice farmers. The 120,000MT per annum mill represents an investment of 10bn Naira in the Nigerian economy … and is the largest parboiled Rice Mill in west Africa.
