Osun State PDP Sympathize with OSBC Over Death Of Reporter

The Peoples Democratic Party, osun state is deeply saddened with the untimely and shocking demise of veteran reporter and OSBC house of Assembly Correspondent, Nathaniel Abimbola who passed on Thursday 23 March, 2017 following a road accident

In a release issued by the state chairman of Osun PDP Hon Soji Adagunodo he said  the death of Mr Nathaniel has robbed the pen profession one of its best adding that the vacum his death has created will be difficult to fill.

Until his death, Nathaniel was one of the most influential and just reporters in the state and OSBC parliamentary correspondent.

Nathaniel was involved in a car crash at Asejire along the Gbongan Ibadan road while going to an event of his church in Ogun state. He was in the company of his church members.
The party sincerely condoles Nathaniel’s wife, children and family and the entire media fraternity on the loss of this inspirational and core professional.

Nathaniel was one of the media’s most dedicated member and his demise is a sad day for the NUJ as an organization and the fraternity as a whole as well as lovers of democracy.

Nathaniel will not only be remembered by many as a senior journalist and reporter but one of the most respected and inspirational reporters that brings the activities of the assembly to the public notice in fair terms.

In Nathaniel’s death, Osun media family has lost a pillar of media freedom, a mentor and a friendly colleague.

May the soul of Nathaniel Abimbola rest in eternal peace..
