Senator David Mark sworn in as Senator for the 6th time.

The Senator speaking to Benue South, Senator David Mark was today, March 2, sworn-in into the Senate for a record sixth time. The Appeal Court sitting in Markurdi dissolved the race of the previous Senate President a year ago and he was pronounced champ of the re-run race hung on Saturday, February 20. Representative Mark was confirmed at precisely 11 am in the sacred chamber by the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki subsequent to taking the customary vow of office and steadfastness. Not long after the swearing in, Senators at the whole session ascended in solidarity with Senator Mark as they alternated to embrace and traded chats with him. He is the main Nigerian to have challenged a Senatorial position six times, won and was confirmed in like manner. He was Senate President from 2007 to 2015.
