Ooni of Ife visits Alaafin of Oyo for the first time in 79 years.

Yesterday Sunday January seventeenth history was made when the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II paid an unforeseen visit to the Alaafin Of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi who was commending his 45th crowning ritual commemoration on the throne. It was the first run through in 79 years that an Ooni of Ife will visit an Alaafin of Oyo, taking after a chilly war of amazingness said to have been in presence between the (past) two rulers for more than 7 decades. The last time a ruling Ooni of Ife went to an Alaafin was in 1937.
