Your ‘I Don’t Care Attitude’ To Politics Dragging Us Backward, Group Tells Osun Youths

An association, National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) has lamented the poor attitudes of the youths of the state to politics saying such lackadaisical attitude was dragging the youths backward.

The Speaker of the youth Assembly, Comrade Amb Ogunolu Samsideen made this known in a message he wrote to the youths of Osun.

Samsideen who doubles as the National President of Youthocracy Movement of Nigeria in his message entitled: “Attitude of I Don’t Care Which is Affecting Youths Activities in Our State,” decried the insensitivity of the Osun youths to their growth.

He therefore charged the youths to be alive to the political system of the state and contribute their quarters to ensuring that youths take their rightful places in the governance of Osun.

“It is very shameful if we all continue with the attitude of I dont care. Its not a rumour and the news is not new that our Osun state youths like to show the attitudes of I don’t care and as a state where there are youths, we shouldnt wait to be pushed before we start action.

” It is painful that Osun state youths lack cooperation, unification and participation; we always show less concern unlike other states like Ogun, Lagos, Delta, Kano, Ekiti and Kwara. Why? Let us be exposed and updated to know that communicating together, working together, sharing ideas together and moving together is the best attitudes that will give us more strenght to face oppressors that are denying us our rights and also pave way for us to get to where we want to be.

“I don’t care attitude is an instrument of evil that satan uses to weaken our efforts and that is why the National Youths Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) Osun state need everyone of us to get it right and know that we can not fold hands and not to participate in our state with the situation we found ourselves.

“Our forthcoming inauguration programme should be an avenue to show our state government that we are fully ready to liberate ourselves and that our rights must be protected.

“Silent will add more problems to a situation but action will reduce problem and give way to solutions. Osun state youths, wake up from your slumber, let come together and work together.

“Join National Youths Assembly of Nigeria Osun state chapter and let use it to liberate our state and whole generation,” the message reads.
