Why I Want To Be The Next Ikole Ekiti Local Government Chairman – Babalola

An All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain from Ikole Local Government, Ekiti State, Babalola Abiodun has made his intention known why he’s contesting for his local government chairmanship position in the next council’s election come December 2019.

Babalola Abiodun said in his country home  Ayebode, Ekiti yesterday during a consultation visit to some leaders in his town. According to him, his agenda for the local government and the masses as enshrined in his slogan ‘HELP 2019’ include; working on boosting human resources, youths and elders empowerment, facilitate capital projects, provision of social amenities among others.

He added that he would ensure there is unity among the youths of his local government area, bring dividends of democracy to the people at the urban and grassroot level as well as give optimum priority to the leaders.

Babalola emphasized that if given the opportunity to lead, no one will be left without feeling the positive impact of his tenor. He promises to provide loans for market women; empower the artisans, provision of scholarship for students, regular funding of farmers among others.

He also emphasis on the needs to compliment the effort of the state Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and the party’s promises during his campaigns.

He prayed that APC continues to soar higher as the party promises to raise best leadership in the country.
