UPDATE! See Photos Showing Damage Done By The Fire That Razed INEC Office in Abuja

There was a fire outbreak at a section of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) complex in Abuja today.

We gathered that the fire started minutes before noon and personnel of the Federal Fire Service had already mobilized to the scene in an effort to out put the inferno.

Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, INEC director of publicity and voter education, confirmed the incident

He said the fire only affected the office of the director of ”election and party monitoring” in the building.

Here is an update on today’s fire incident, we have Pictures showing the damage to one office in the Election and Party Monitoring Department, which is an annex detached from the main building, and efforts by men of the Federal Fire Service to contain it.
