Tragedy struck as suspected cultists killed a young man identified as Shogo by smashing his head with a big stone on his street at Oke-Ijetu area, in Osogbo, Osun state capital on Thursday, AMILOADED Reports.
According to some residents of the area, the incident happened on Thursday when the suspected cultists chased him out from a barber shop and killed him.
Residents of the area scampered for safety when the incident caused panic in the area as cultists brandished dangerous weapons.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, said the situation had been brought under control and assured the residents of the safety.
