Tinubu, Yahaya Bello, Dangote, Nwoko, Dino, Natasha Nominated For Peace Award (PICTURES)

The prestigious National Peace Awards would be proudly hosted in FCT this year on the 5th of July at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The annual award is organised to recognise personalities and agencies who have been devoted to peace and conflict management across Nigeria.

 According to Dr. Adejo Suleiman, the National President of Messengers of Peace and Host of the National Peace Awards, he stated that this year’s award occasion will be quite distinct and impressive, stating that the event will honour several impact persons, cutting across leadership, humanity, governance, private Institutions and international influencers.

Some of the distinguished nominated awardees for the forthcoming awards are Prince Ned Nwoko, Barr Natasha Akpoti, Sen kabiru Gaya, Sen. Florence Ita Giwa, Chief Fabian Nwaora EFAB, Hon. Abike Dabiri, Halima Dangote, Aliko Dangote, Goodluck Ebele Johnathan, Badamosi Jimoh Rawufu. Abubakar Ibrahim Idris, Gov Yahya Bello, Gov Ayade, Gov. Willie Obiano, Gov Seriake Dickson, Sen Dino Melaye, 
Asiwaju bola Ahmed Tinubu, National peace committee, FIRS, Ebiojo Paragon, Regina Daniels, Ali Baba, Yemi Alade, Tu face idibia and a host of others.

Dr. Adejo noted that the organising committee of National Peace Award has lined out a list of confirmed award nominees, who have earned and merited whatever honour they would be decorated with. He also added that the awardees would be given peace Customized vehicle plate number.


Over the years, the NPA has continued to maintain a syncretic relationship with security agencies, especially the Nigeria police, who have played the most significant role in sustaining national peace in Nigeria.

Notably, Messenger of Peace, the proud organisers of National Peace Awards have also championed other initiatives which includes organising the Queen of Peace Nigeria and the Queen of Peace Africa.
