UPDATED: Tinubu Campaign Organisation Visits Osun Monarchs, Seeks Support Ahead of 2023 Presidential Poll

The Osun State Chapter of Campaign organisation for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s 2023 presidential ambition, Tinubu Transformational Agenda, (THE TITAN) has toured palaces of some traditional rulers in the state to curry support for the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

A statement signed by the state Coordinator: Engr. Ademola Idris Olarenwaju and the State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Kunle Komolafe, a copy of which was available to AMILOADED on Thursday revealed that the campaign organization visited five royal fathers.

The statement disclosed that TITAN embarked on the Royal tour tour in the state in order to receive Royal blessings, advice and to seek for their support. 

“Our first point of call was the Palace of H.R.M OBA AL_MAROOF ADEKUNLE  MAGBAGBEOLA OLUMOYERO II. OLUFON OF IFON OSUN. The Royal Father received us with great excitement, he said that he was so happy to have us around. 

“After the introduction and familiarisation, the monarch admonished us to be tactical in handling the project and that we should make strategic moves. He prayed for the success of the group. 

“The Royal tour took us to the Palace of H.R.M  ASHIRU OLANIYAN, OLOBU OF ILOBU. The reception given to us was fantastic. The Royal Father was elated to see us. In his remarks, he said that the project is about Yoruba Agenda which all Yorub must support Yoruba. He promised to throw his weight behind the course.

“The Royal tour also took us to the Palace H.R.M OBA YUSUF OMOLOYE. Elerin OF Erin Osun. The Monarch received us with joy and happiness, he commended the good roles that Tinubu have been playing in Nigeria politics, he added that his roles is second to none. He admonished the group to work in unity and not to give room for division. He prayed for the success of the group.

“The Palace of Akirun of Ikirun H.R.M OBA ABDUL RAUF OLAYIWOLA on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. The Royal Father received us with great excitement. His affirmative responses gave us the assurance of better tomorrow; he equally showered on us Royal blessings and promised to support the course. In presence were, The State Coordinator, the three Senatorial Leaders, some of Executive members and the Media team.

“At the Palace of Obaagun on same day, we also visited the Palace of Olobagun of Obaagun, H.R.M OBA JIMOH ADEBISI OKUNADE KAYODE II. The Monarch was so excited to receive us. In fact, we were overwhelmed with the kind of reception given to us. The Royal Father admonished us to work together in harmony for ultimate result. He rendered a special prayer for our Principal, TINUBU. He asked us not to distance ourselves from him. With all humility he promised to support the course.”

TITAN is an organization aimed at ensuring Tinubu succeeds President Buhari come next general elections.

“The main aim of the group is to set the ball rolling for TINUBU ahead of 2023 general elections and to ensure that he emerge president in any political party he chooses..

For now, we are not ascribing him with any political party. All we are after is to sell his mission and vision to Nigerians especially youths. His cardinal focus is Peace, power, education, agriculture, security and, employment.

“The objectives are to consolidate Buhari’s Achievements; to coordinate &monitored all other groups supporting the ambition bid of Bola Tinubu for presidency; to unite and ensure peaceful coexistence of all youths irrespective of tribe, religion and geopolitical zones; to get youths involved in d political sphere of our nation (Youths inclusiveness in governance).

“Others are to fast track speedy growth and development in all region of Nigeria should Tinubu becomes the president; to ensure free and compulsory female education at all level; to instill patriotism in the youths and ensure selfless services to our fatherland,” the statement hinted.
