A lady named Esther, who works as a fuel attendant in Mobil Filling Station, Abuja, was praised for returning the sum of N30 thousand misplaced by a customer.
Some weeks ago a Facebook user named, Efe Okposio drove into the Mobil filling station on Teaching Hospital rd Gwagwalada Abuja to get fuel. Unknown to him 30k dropped off his car when he opened the door.
When he got to the next stop to pick some things he later discovered his money was missing.
After driving around for about 30mins he later decided to check the filling station.
When he arrived the filling station and asked the fuel attendant named Esther about the money. She just stepped into their office and brought out the misplaced money.
She could have denied seeing the money and nobody would have suspected her. But she brought the money out. 30k is her two months salary but she rose above it.
Speaking with Amiloaded Source, Esther said although her salary may not be enough for her upkeep, especially with the current economic situation in the country. She said that to make Nigeria great, we all must prove to be good Nigerians in our small corners. Not all Nigerians are corrupt.
“She was happy to have the chance to prove herself and want other Nigerian youths to learn from it. She want our youths to know that a good name is better than riches,” she added.
