The Social Director of Mass Communication Department, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, ‘Ayofe Alawada’, has been spotted on campus carrying a baby on his back.
As the gesture appeared strange and funny, different reactions had trailed Alawada’s action.
However, speaking to AMILOADED, he revealed that the baby belongs to his female friend, noting that the help he offered was part of efforts to ease the burden on the nursing mother.
He added that, “When a man is regarded as the head of the family, there is nothing bad in nurturing a child (God gift) together with care.
“One of the important care a man could give child right from the infancy stage is carrying him or her around for more recognition, the reality is that such action should be encouraged in our contemporary society.
“A man should always be willing to support a nursing mother to make things work out as expected,” Alawada said.
