A 40-year-old Gospel singer has reportedly gone blind after sexual intercourse with a self-acclaimed prophet.
The victim identified as Maame Adwoa is said to be a soul worshiper in the church has lost her sight after the prophet abuses her sɛxually.
Speaking in an interview on Bryt FM, Maame Adwoa said Prophet Charles Kofi Adu, the founder leader of Light Ministry Church in Koforidua in the Eastern Region asked her to support his ministry as a lead singer.
She said after a little while the prophet then approaches her again this time with a marriage proposal.
“…after every sɛxual intercourse, he claims I have a bad odor in my vⱥginⱥ so I should wash my vagina into a bucket at the bathroom.
“I was confused why the prophet keeps telling me that I should wash my vⱥginⱥ into the bucket but he told me there is no cause for alarm.”
“He later sent me to his spiritual father at Old Estate a suburb of Koforidua, and the spiritual father after some incantations said, marriage between us would work so I should walk away from the relationship.
“A few days later, I fell ill and started experiencing painful bulging eyes and went partially blind recently,” she narrated.
Maame Adwoa disclosed that her mother took her to the Eastern Regional Hospital but was referred to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital however has not been able to go to Korle Bu for medical due to financial difficulties.
