In a bid to curb the incessant /reported cases of robbery cases in Iwo, OLUWO of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has announced the appointment of viceroys to administer in tightening the security of suburbs within Iwo.
He said there are many developed sites in IWO without administration which has led to the porosity of its security. As such, I want to appoint competent viceroy that will administer and report the welfare and security details of each community to the palace for optimum interest of the citizens.
The disclosure was contained in a press statement made available to journalists by his press secretary, ALLI Ibraheem.
Oluwo has called on competent, patriotic and interested individual from
each locations to submit letter of interest to the palace for onward action.
“There are incessant cases of robbery in suburbs of Iwo. We need authority to collaborate with security and the palace to curb the menace. To achieve this, I need to appoint viceroy to each of the new sites that are targets of those miscreants. To curtail them, there must be administration t be presided by capable hands. Those who are interested should write the palace for necessary step” – Oluwo
