The Honourable Member representing Oriade State Constituency, Architect Babatunde Desmond Ojo has expressed shock and commiserated with the opposition People’s Democratic Party in Oriade Local Government, Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency and State of Osun on the sudden demise of two of its leaders, Honourables Edward Keshinro and Jegede Olaosebikan who died in separate road mishaps.
Architect Desmond Ojo in a Statement he personally signed noted somberly that ‘the human life remains sacred and beyond party differences, must always be held as such’. He added that he had had reasons to interact with both politicians on different occasions over the years and described their passion for the growth and development of Oriade as deep rooted.
Until their demise, Honourable Edward Keshinro who hailed from Erin Ijesa, a member of the PDP Elder’s Council in Ijesa North and a former Secretary/Chairman in Ilesa West Local Government died after a fatal car crash along Erin Ijesa on the Ilesa – Akure Expressway while Honourable Jegede Olaosibikan who hailed from Ijebu Ijesa, the incumbent Chairman of the PDP in Oriade Local Government died after another ghastly vehicle accident along Redemption Camp on the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway.
‘I also extend my deep condolences to the immediate family, friends and associates of the deceased politicians. It is my earnest prayer that the Good Lord grant their families strength especially at this very tough time and the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss’, Honourable Desmond Ojo added.
