Muslims have been enjoined to emulate the teachings of Prophet Muhammed which includes love,perseverance, peace and unity as they celebrate the birthday of the prophet of Islam.
A Gbongan born security expert and frontline politician, Omooba Dotun Babayemi gave the advice while felicitating with Muslims on this year’s Eid Maulud.
According to him,Prophet Muhammed was sent to the world to proclaim peace at a time idol worshipping,killings and cheating were on rampage.
Urging Muslims to emulate the perseverance nature of the prophet,the Gbongan prince noted that the current challenges in the country will soon be a thing of the past.
Omooba Babayemi who described prayers as the key to having a better society,implores Muslim ummah to maximize a time like this when Allah sent respite to the world,and pray for a better Nigeria.
The security expert also called on those in positions of authority to always remember the less privileged and assist them accordingly just as Prophet Muhammed did in his lifetime.
Describing the youths in Islam as the heritage of the religion, Omooba Babayemi implores them to use their energy to worship Allah and be focused on ways to building a better tomorrow where moral values will be held in high esteem.
He appealed to them to disregard calls to be used as agents of destruction and disunity.
