Police Screen 2,159 Candidates For Constables Across 14 Osun LGs

The Osun State Police Command has screened 2,159 candidates from 14 Local Government Areas in the State.

This was revealed to AMILOADED in a statement by the Force Spokeperson, SP Yemisi Opalola.

The force had screened candidates from Aiyedaade, Aiyedire, Atakumosa East, Atakumosa West, Boluwaduro, Boripe, Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo, Ife Central, Ife East, Ife North and Ife South in the first week exercise of the recruitment.

Yemisi revealed that the hitch-free exercise was in the presence of the personnel from the Osun State Office of the Federal Character Commission as observers.

She further revealed that the exercise was done in compliance with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines.

The Police spokesperson, however, disclosed that the screening exercise will continue today, Monday 31st August, 2020 by 9:00am with Ifedayo, Ifelodun and Ila Local Government Areas.
