Police Arraign Agent For Defrauding Tenat in Osogbo

Osun State Police Command has arraigned a 39-year-old women, Owolabi Deborah in Osogbo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly defrauding Tenant an amount of 500,000.
Deborah was docked before Magistrate Opeyemi Taofeek Badmus on three count charge of conspiracy, felony to wit stealing.
The prosecutor Inspector Jafani Muslim told the court that the accused and others at large committed the offense sometimes in the month of April 2018 at Olonkoro area in Osogbo.
The prosecutor explained that the defendant obtained the sum of 500,000 with a pretence to secure a 5 bedroom flat apartment for the complainant.
He alleged further that the accused stolen the sum of 500,000 belonging to Mr Olatunji Adams.
Prosecutor submitted that the offense contravene section 516, section 419, section 383 and punishable under section 390 (9) of the criminal code cap 34 volume 11.laws of Osun State 2003.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to all three count charge alleged against her by the police.
The Defense Counsel, Barrister Eze Ngwoke urged the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal and affordable terms assuring the court that the accused will provide a reliable and credible surety if granted bail.
The presiding magistrate granted the defendant bail in the sum of 500,000 with one surety. Surety to sworn to affidavit of means produce three passports photographs and must be tax payer who resides within the court jurisdiction.
The case was adjourned to Oct 9 for hearing.
