Police Arraign 26-Year – Old Woman For Stealing Fisheries In Cold Room

A 26- year- old woman, Temilola Ogunyemi was on Tuesday arraigned before Osogbo magistrate court in Osun State for allegedly stealing Fisheries worth 3.1m from Cold Room.
Temilola was docked on Tuesday alonge side Abiodun Olaniyi Isaac, 26 before Magistrate Modupe Awodele on two count charge of theft.
The Prosecutor, ASP Taiwo Adegoke ,told the court that the defendants committed the offense sometimes in July 2017 at Jordan Betsay Fisheries cold room ,Igbonna , Osogbo .
Adegoke said the defendants conspired between themselves to steal asorted parks of Fisheries which value about N3.1 million.
He said the offense contravened section 516 and 390(9) (6) of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11 ,laws of Osun, 2003.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the two count-charges alleged against them.
The Defense Counsel, Mr Najite Okobie ,prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal and affordable terms.
He assured the court that his client will provide a reliable and credible surety if granted bail.
The Magistrate, Mrs Modupe Awodele, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N500,000 and two sureties each in the like sum.
Awodele said the sureties must reside within the court jurisdiction with evidence of tax payments and two passports sized photographs, attached with an affidavit of means.
The case was adjourned to Sept. 9 for mentioned.
