Man in Court For stealing Infinix phone

The Osun State Police Command on Monday arraigned a 26-year – old man, Pamilerinayo Seyi before Osogbo Magistrate’s Court in Osun State for allegedly stealing Infinix hot 5 phone valued 39,500 property of Oludemi Derek.
The defendant was docked before Magistrate Fatimah Sodamade on a count charge of theft.
The prosecutor Inspector Olayiwola Rasaq told the court that the defendant committed the offense on Aug 29 at Osun State University main campus Oke – Bale in Osogbo.
He alleged that the defendant carted away three phones and two ATM cards belonging to the residents.
According to him, the three phones are one infinite phone valued 39,500, one Nokia phone valued 4,000 two ATM Card of Diamonds and first bank one LG phone valued 9,000 and one ltel phone valued 19,500.
All the properties stolen belongs to Oludemi Derek, Oparinde Collins and Ajose Kehinde.
The prosecutor submitted that the offense is contrary to and punishable under section 390 (9) of the criminal code cap 34 volume 11.laws of Osun State 2003.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the count charge alleged against him by the police.
The defense counsel A. O Emmanuel applied for the bail of the defendant in the most liberal and affordable terms. He assured the court that his client will provide a reliable and credible surety if granted bail .
The magistrate Mrs Fatimoh Sodamade granted the accused bail in the sum of 100,000 With one surety.
She said surety must reside within the court jurisdiction sworn to affidavit of means produce tax clearance and the address to be verified by the police.
The case was adjourned to September 27 for hearing
