President Muhammadu Buhari has been presented with the first ever Made-in-Nigeria Android phone.
The ITF mobile, an android phone was fully made in Nigeria, from locally sourced components, by the electrical/electronics technology department of the Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Model Skills Training Center (MSTC) in State House on 9th June 2021.
It was presented to President Buhari by Minister of Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo at the State House, Abuja on Wednesday.
Buhari showed off the phone at a virtual Federal Executive Council Meeting on Wednesday.
Also present at the meeting was Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, NSA Babagana Monguno, AGF Abubakar Malami, Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari, Minister for Information, Lai Mohammed, Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed and SGF Boss Mustapha.
