To allow for the aspiration of Senator Ademola Adeleke to fly, a frontline gubernatorial aspirants in the September 22 governorship contest under the platform of Peoples democratic party (PDP), Akogun Lere Oyewumi has stepped down.
To this end, Oyewumi endorsed the governorship ambition of Senator Adeleke.
Dr. Oyewumi, made the announcement on Thursday at an enlarged meeting of his campaign organization.
He said he made the decision in the overall interest of the party.
The meeting also had in attendance Senator Ademola Adeleke, Dr. Deji Adeleke, Chief SB Babalola, Hon. Niyi Owolade, and other members of the Adeleke group.
