She urged the Muslim faithful to use the period of Ramadan to pray to Almighty Allah for Osun State and Nigeria at large over the challenges of insecurity bewildering the country.

The Osun First Lady further assured that the governor, Amotekuns, vigilantes, and the police are not resting on their oars towards securing the residents of the state.

On his part, the public speaker of the programme, Dr Abdulrosheed, who delivered a lecture on the importance of Ramadan in the life of human and in the society, said, “Fasting was commanded by God to renew our lives and to reinforce our connection with Him.”

He added that “fasting serves as a guide to live in God’s way rather than humans.”
