Chairman of the Osun State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP caretaker committee, Chief Sarafa Ishola has said that the recent progress recorded by his committee has been a threat to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the state.
Chief Sarafa Ishola made this known to Amiloaded through a statement issued ahead of the inauguration of the Local Government chapters of the PDP caretaker committees in the state.
He explained that Osun APC is shocked that notable aggrieved members of PDP could bury their egos and political differences to fight for a common cause of liberating the people of the state like they did during the Osun-West by-election.
Chief Ishola who described the statement credited to the APC spokesman, Barrister Kunle Oyatomi as an outburst of a drowning sailor who would ordinarily want to hold on to every flimsy straw with the hope of survival, maintained that his party is ready and fit to unseat the APC in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
He however appealed to leaders and stakeholders in the party to keep supporting his committee in order to quickly fix all outstanding leadership issues in the party.
