Osun Tourism Potentials Capable Of Creating Decent Jobs For 200,000 Residents – ADP Guber Candidate

The Action Democratic Party (ADP)  governorship candidate in the September 22nd election in Osun state, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti has disclosed that he would harness the tourism potentials in Ile-Ife  and turn the ancient city to Southwest Tourism headquarters.

Addressing multitude of supporters who stormed the ADC mega rally in Ile-Ife on Saturday, Adeoti said tourism, if properly harnessed in the state, has the capacity to create over 200,000 decent jobs for residents and indigenes of the state.

He described the recent recruitment of residents of the state into OYES by the present administration as fire brigade approach arguing that it was a polical deceit by the ruling party ahead of the poll.

Adeoti therefore called on all applicants not to be deceived and should vote for ADP.

According to him, “I understand your pains and that of the retired and serving civil servants and promise to ensure that every stakeholder in the Osun project get adequate attention.

Adeoti added that the township roads in Ile-Ife will be given adequate attention in line with his vision to make the town a tourism hub in the region and also pledged to rehabilitate the Modakeke township roads, as well as the Sekona-Edunabon-Moro to Ife road for easy access.

He added all the higher institution in Ifeland would receive soft help as they are revenue generating organizations for the government and would ensure cordial relationship with them all.

In his speech, Professor Adeolu Durotoye disclosed that the recent medical outreach organized by the candidate of the ruling party is an attestation of the administration’s failure in the health sector and many other areas of governance, urging the electorates to ignore their late minute attempt to buy their votes by decoy.

He assured the populace in the state that the ADP administration when it came on board would engage local contractors in the execution of projects and create a template for the circulation of wealth within the state.

In his address, a chieftain of the party, Oluomo Sunday Akere urged electorate to ignore the rumour from Senator Iyiola Omisore that ADP is working with any party, saying the party is the best brand of progressive politics and it is not working for either PDP or APC.
