Osun: The Need For All APC Members To Woo Opposition, Build Unity Within And Close Ranks By Rotimi Makinde

There can not be a better time for us to intensify efforts to build a solid platform for the progress of our dear party, APC and to make friends for Gov Gboyega Oyetola than now. Not too long ago, we worked like never before in unity to ensure his victory, we embarked on multiple  prayers and cried unto God to ensure our resounding  victory.

God was faithful to His word without any iota of disappointment. He eventually crowned our wishes and gave us victory despite several opposing forces.

Today, he is piloting the state and mindful of his integrity to ensure he does only those things that will endear our party and his government to the heart of the people. Please, let’s be cautious and remember that this our deserved government of the people and guided by the people’s wish simply puts greater courage and challenges before us to prepare to do only those things that will move our dear state forward and not to cause rancour or enmity with any body .

This is therefore a good time for us to think positively and to note that we can not pretend to have monopoly of knowledge. It is indeed a good time for us to begin to woo the opposition, build unity within and also reach out to some perceived individuals who include those with opposing views on some policies, to parley with them and to ensure we close ranks with them in order to enlarge our coast with serious intention to reposition our great party for better tomorrow which is not too far if we are to be truthful to ourselves. Not too bad if we extend our hands of fellowship to those our people, former party faithfuls who derailed at certain times in the past.

With a good combination of personalities, successes being recorded  and lots of openness cum willingness to forgive and tolerate, our party can be amazing and become more vibrant to withstand future election that will never need a rerun but rather a landslide victory so as not to experience  stress any longer.

To ensure this is for us to stop further bickering and nepotism and to stop further  mocking of anybody.

Osun a dara ooo.
