A governorship aspirant in Osun State under the platform of People’s Democratic Party, Omooba Dotun Babayemi has affirmed that his political party is the only party with the potentials of distributing democratic dividends to the masses .
Omooba Babayemi stated this while featuring on a radio programme in Osogbo.
The international business man,legal and security expert maintained that it was during the administration of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola that Osun State and its people tasted an all inclusive governance last,as governance were not only felt by the elites but the likes of road side mechanics,artisans, indigenous contractors and the vulnerables.o
Omooba Babayemi who pointed at politics of deceit, egocentrism and lack of care for the masses as factors that led him to leave the All Progressives Congress said that as a man born and bread in the palace where local politics and impacts of poverty are felt on the people,he could not have continued with a political party that deprive retirees of their entitlement and workers,their salaries.
The bussinesman cum security expert who controls over twenty two thousand workers said that he is ready to take Osun State to the desired level.
According to him “Osun Economy is in shambles with an average worker earning peanut and the local government administration rendered handicapped.”
“I am ready to give the State the best of Economy through a ten year Economy plan that will focus on Agriculture and Mining among others”.
Positing that the People’s Democratic Party was rigged out in the 2018 governorship election in Osun State, Omooba Dotun Babayemi maintained that the kind of love and unity in the umbrella party will not give a chance for such this time, as Osun people are already craving for the goodies they enjoyed during the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola s administration under the People’s Democratic party.
Omooba Babayemi pledged to replicate good governance that will not expose the masses to hunger,slavery,and any form of hardship if given the chance to rule the state.
