Osun PDP Guber Primary: Adejare Bello Picks Nomination Form, Seeks Fairness

Ahead of the forthcoming governorship  primary of the Peoples Democratic Party in

Osun state, one of the governorship aspirants in the party, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello has purchased nomination for to contest the party’s ticket.

The former Speaker of the State House of Assembly picked the form Earlier today at the National Secretariat of the PDP, Wadata Plaza Abuja.

Speaking after purchasing the form, Bello, being the first aspirant to pick up form under the PDP, explained that his early step was is in a bid to fulfill to reassure his teeming supporters of his unwavering resolve to serve the state by succeeding Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

He said he had promised his supporters that he would not trade his ambition of becoming the next Osun governor disclosing that his early purchase of nomination was not to intimidate other aspirants.

He said,  one of my promises during the tour to my party delegates and stakeholders in the 30 local governments and area council of the state is that I will not disappoint them by dropping off my ambition during the race to any other candidate.

“Therefore, the purchase of this form came up early not to intimidate other aspirants from participating but to assure my teeming supporters of my readiness to serve the state with my experience and lead them to the promise land.”

He however, called on the national working committee on the election and the state executives to allow the fear of God to guide their conducts by ensuring credible, fair and rancour-free primary election.

“This will further portray to the good people of Osun State the party’s readiness to defeat and  take over the mantle of leadership from APC led government,” the governorship hopeful stated.

Hon. Bello further expressed his desire to support anyone the party justly picked to be its flag bearer in the September 22 governorship election in the state.
