Osun IPAC Commiserates With Uniq FM Over Alakinde’s Death

 

The Osun Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has commiserated with Uniq FM Ilesa and the entire entertainment industry in Nigeria over the death of the National Organizing Secretary of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Sunday Olufemi Alakinde.

Alakinde died on Monday in a ghastly road accident along Ilesa/Akure Expressway.

According to a condolence message issued and made available to AMILOADED by the Osun IPAC PRO, Pastor Olatunji Popoola on behalf of its chairman, Adebayo Simon Adewale, described Alakinde as one of the finest Yoruba program presenters Uniq FM, Ilesa could boast of.

Osun IPAC described the incident as devastating and shocking just as it prayed that God would grant the family and colleagues of the deceased the fortitude to bear the agonising loss.

The group further described the deceased as a talented and well cultured radio presenter who displayed high level of professional dexterity.

I also commiserate with the family, lovers of Sunday Alakinde, FIBAN Osun state and uniq FM, Ilesa, the news was so hard to believe yesterday, this is a kind of presenter that used to make people happy every morning, his impact and that of his colleagues, most especially on news papers review in yoruba languages tagged “koko inu iwe iroyin” has made the radio station popular within and outside the state. May his soul rest in peace and God will give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
