Osun Governorship poll: K-RAD Boasts Of Winning APC Primary, Unveils Agenda

A governorship hopeful under the All Progressives Congress at the 2018 Osun gubernatorial poll,  Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-RAD) has said he would win the primary election of his party.

This, the aspirant said would give him the opportunity to make the necessary turn around for the state.

Speaking with journalists in Osogbo on Saturday, KRAD outlined his agenda for the people of Osun which according to him is premised on a four cardinal agenda of rebuilding the state economy, education, health and infrastructural development.

While disclosing plans to rebuild the economy of the state, K-RAD said “turning around the economic fortune of Osun state is the only way to having all other sectors fixed. We are going to have a very aggressive agriculture revolution in Osun state in such a way that in the next three years,  Osun state will be boasting of Nine billion Naira monthly IGR.

“We will make use of our lands judiciously, create a win-win situation between the government, land owners and investors who will create for us food crops and other varieties to be supplied to a ready market as provided by the state government. This is no rocket science and we will do it. “

On tourism, Adegoke said, “Osun state through research have up to sixty three tourist sites, its only quite unfortunate that what we have are tourist sites, not tourist attractions. Through our re-investment programmes,  we will surely give a world class touch to our tourist sites in a manner that will make investors and manufacturers to fall over themselves. Do you know that with Erin Ijesha water fall alone,  aside creating a fun-filled environment, we can also solve the problem of erratic power supply?  All what we need to have a viable economy are with us here,  it’s only left for us to have the political will and leadership to make these things work for us.

K-RAD added that the debt profile of Osun state is not as scary as been bloated as it will be naturally managed once the internally generated revenue of the state increases.
