Osun First Lady and the President IleriOluwa Development Initiatives, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has charged the affluent Nigerians in assisting the vulnerable, just as she also retirated her commitment to continue helping the vulnerable in the society .
Mrs Oyetola gave the charge in Apomu during an official handing over of a mentally challenged lady named Labake Najeem now hale and hearty who she took away about three months ago during an official visit to Apomu community on the permission of the Alapomu of Apomu Oba Adenekan Afolabi.
Wife of the Governor who was accompanied by her entourage, said she has been on the rescue mission for the vulnerable in the society for years, especially people with mentally challenged issues or the others with the grace of God, charged all well meaning Nigerians to assist in salvaging the society to be a safes place to live for all and sundry.
Osun First Lady who appreciated God for the successful treatment of Labake Najeem who she picked up in unstable condition with pregnancy, stated that, with the glory of God , she is now handing over her officially to Alapomu in hale and hearty condition with her new born baby girl.
Mrs Oyetola also used the medium to appreciate the professional job done by the medical personnels at the State Specialist Hospital for extending care and love to Labake Najeem during her trying period till she became hale and hearty.
She then charged the people of Apomu town to support the girl through showing her love,care and shun all forms of discrimination in order to allow her fulfill destiny as planned by God for her and her new baby girl.
While responding, the Alapomu of Apomu Oba Adenekan Afolabi and his Olori Janet Mba Afolabi who could not hide their feelings, appreciated the kind gesture of Mrs Oyetola over Labake and pledged their unflinching support to take proper care of the girl and her new baby as their own child.
The duo prayed for Mrs Oyetola for more grace to continue the mission and for successful tenure of the present administration in the State under the leadership of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
