The Coordinator, All Progressives Youth Women Forum, Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Folashade Ruqqayah Olujide has joined the race for the position of Deputy National Youth Leader of the ruling party at its National Convention slated for June 23.
Olujide, a member, Nigerian Consolidation Ambassador Network, who also doubles as the Woman leader, All Progressives Youth Forum in Osun promised to ensure that interest of youths are adequately represented in the party.
The indigiene of Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of the state holds a Higher National Diploma in Insurance at the Polytechnic Ibadan.
According to Olujide in a statement she made available to journalists on Tuesday, “I am vying for the Deputy National Youth Leader of our great party, the APC and I want to contribute positively to party processes and enhance representation of young people by persuasively advocating for inclusion, identifying opportunities and implementing ideas which will further endear the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Nigerian youths.”
“I am skilled in affective Public Speak; I am into Women and Youth Mobilisation and I also possess Professional grassroots/ Community outreach skills.
She therefore sought for the support of party leaders and elders including youths to attain this position stressing that the welfare of youths of the party would be greatly transformed.
