Osun Accountant General didn’t Resign – Baderinwa

The Osun State commissioner for information and Strategy,Mr Adelani Baderinwa has urged the general to disregard the rumors that Accountant General of the State of Osun, Mr Alaba Akintayo Kolawole resigned from office.
Contrary to the information flying around about Mr Kolawole the Accountant General of the state of Osun where they claimed he was forced to leave office because of Illigal deals that Mr governor, Rauf Aregbesola wanted him to be executed and resign from service on the same matter.
Mr Baderinwa said Kolawole retired from service on account of reaching the threshold age of 60 years few days back, in line with the civil service rules and practice.
He stressed that Mr Kolawole had served the state meritoriously in various capacities since he joined the service some decades ago and rose to be appointed the Accountant General of the state by Governor Rauf Aregbesola in 2012 when he reached the pinnacle of his career.
The commissioner described Mr Kolawole as a diligent, dutiful and hardworking while in office saying the service will miss him and his contributions.
Meanwhile, the Governor, State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has congratulated Mr. Kolawole for successfully retiring from service and wish him well in his future endeavors.
