As the Osun 2022 election draws closer, a group working for the emergence of Senator Jackson Ademola Adeleke known as the Pathfinder Team has been making frantic effort to ensure the success of their principal.
The Iwo local government branch of the group has taken a step further by organising a spiritual prayer for the party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to a statement made available to AMILOADED by the Team Media Director, Oladipupo Sefiu, the prayer session was led by the Chairman, Osun State PDP Muslim Committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Mudasiru (Bebeto).
Alhaji Bebeto centered the point of prayer on the success of Osun 2022 governorship election in favour of PDP as the party has unanimously agreed on Senator Adeleke.
The prayer which was held at Iwo PDP Party Secretariat had in attendance imminent party personalities, the party chairman in the local government, Honorable Apesin Sefiu; the State Board of Trustee for the Team, Hon, Lukman Afolabi; former Osun West PDP Senatorial Leader, Honorable Halidu Adeoye.
Others include party chieftains, Honorable Sulaiman Akanji Bello (Seebee), Alhaji Lukman Kayode (L&K), Honorable Akintayo Ismail Onseyoo, Alhaja Lawrence Afusat, Honorable Ayodele Ronke, ward executives, among others.
While speaking at the programme, the party chairman thanked the Pathfinder Team for complementing the efforts of the party in the local government.
He described Senator Adeleke as a “Messiah sent to Osun people to rescue them from the APC maladministration”.
The representative of Senator Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke and the the team BOT chairman, Honorable Lukman Afolabi, on behalf of the Senator, appreciated the organizers of the prayer, assuring them that Senator Adeleke will not be ungrateful to them and Iwo residents at large.
On his part, the coordinator of the team, Mr. Musilimu Saheed, appreciated the leadership of the party for giving his team the deserving supports.
“Apart from the Billboard which displays the picture of our principal we are unveiling today, the team has earlier installed a Billboard at our party secretariat as can be seen here, we have renovated the party secretariat giving it a new look, got many souls defected to our party and to be lovers of Senator Ademola Adeleke, all these wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our party leaders,” he said.
