Engr. Olalere Sodiq Adepoju is the candidate of the Action Democratic Party for represent Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo federal constituency in the 2019 general elections.
He is a seasoned and registered electrical engineer and member of Nigeria Society of Engineers. He has served and managed different reputable organizations in different capacity at various points in time.
He is from Larinpo compound in ward 4, Olorunda local government area.
Olalere had his basic and secondary educations at Local Authority Primary School, Gbonmi and Laro Grammar School respectively, both in Osogbo.
As a brilliant and ambitious young man, Olalere proceeded to the prestigious University of Ilorin where he bagged Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He successfully completed his mandatory National Youth Service Corps the following year.
His work experience can be traced to companies like IMPaM, GmbH both in Hamburg, Germany where he worked as Senior Electrical Design Engineer. He also diligently served ALCON Nigeria Limited as Principal Electrical Design Engineer and Engineering Manager.
After serving people for years, Olalere thought it wise to establish his own company and become an employer of labour. This vision led him to found Initial Concept Ltd where is the Chief Executive Officer till today.
Apart from being a member of NSE, Olalere also belongs to other professional organizations among them are COREN, Project Management Institute, West Virginia Chapter, USA etc.
His foray into politics dated back 1993 when he was the chairmanship candidate of the defunct All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP). Since then, he has remained committed to the development of his people, community and the nation at large.
