There was wild jubilation in Unit 2, Otun Balogun Ward 2 in Gbongan, Ayedaade Local government area of Osun state after Omooba Dotun Babayemi delivered his ward to the Peoples Democratic Party at the House of Assembly election in the state on Saturday.
The senatorial candidate of the February 23 Election, garnered 181 votes for the PDP in the Unit as against APC’s 59 votes.
The overall result of Otun Balogun Ward 2 in Ayedaade local government for the Osun House of Assembly election also showed PDP led with 1057 votes while APC had 962 votes.
It would be recalled that Omooba Babayemi also won in the Unit and Ward during the last National Assembly election.
