….THE LATEPIAN STRINGENT CONTROL OF BASSA.
The gradual destruction of APC in Bassa Local Government. Information reaching us from Bassa Local Government, has pointed a very glim and dull prospects for the Party in Bassa if Care is not taken.
The Party has been hijacked by Latep, the disgraced former Party Chairman in Plateau State. Latep, because of his inordinate ambition has positioned Alhassan Ayiki, whom he made the Care taker Chairman of the Party in the State. Latep, through the help of Sarah Bali, Senator Timothy Adudu, Bar. Agagak and One very flimsy Politician by name Ezekiel Angai to ensure that Alhassan Ayiki in Rukuba, Sarah Bali in Penganga and Lumumba Dah Adeh (His former enemy, now a staunch supporter) in Irigwe/Miango as his coordinators in his inordinate ambition to become the Governor of Plateau State come 2023.
A huge sum of money has been advanced to these people to mobilise and ensure that all the new executives of the Party from the pending Congresses are controlled by him to counter anyone Lalong will support.
The scenario played in the illegal Primaries conducted by some self seeking greeds, (though the State Party executives have discarded that excercise as illegal) and under Lateps financial muzzle, ensured Alhassan picked.
The current caretaker Chairman of the Party in Bassa and also an aspirant, is accused of using the position to his advantages, a position that all other Party members are complaining of.
The Latep group is doing everything to disgrace the Governor and has promised to ensure that any candidate Lalong supports, must fail in 2023. Already, Party executives positions have been written, Alhassan, Timothy Adudu, Agagak, Ezekiel Angai, Sarah Bali and others mentioned above, without discussing with other Party elders and very critical stakeholders.
The management of the APC Party in the State of Plate is informed of the underground Latepianism, as if Latep is too much for them even in suspension, he is controlling every step, and the genuine lovers of the Party are complaining bitterly without the State apparatuses acting.
The aforementioned are doing all corruptible conducts, without any one coming to the rescue.How can you be a Party Chairman, an aspirant and yet superintend, all processes that would produce delegates for the primaries? Never unheard of in the course natural justice. The Party in Bassa would soon Implode. As the lists of exco,bis submitted, a careful scrutiny should be made to avoid an embarrassing situation already orchestrated. Just watch out.
