Oodua FM Is My Community Development Project, I Didn’t Establish It To Make Money – Makinde

A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has said that his establishment of a radio station, Oodua FM Ile-Ife was not to make money.

According to the actor cum ex-lawmaker, the radio station is his biggest community development project aimed at promoting the social economic growth of Ile-Ife and it’s environs.

Makinde made this known with journalists in Ile Ife.

For Makinde, of the radio station was to be a money making medium,  it would have been located in Lagos or Ibadan.

He said the establishment of the radio station in his hometown is because of his love for the people of Ile-Ife.

According to him, “I did not establish the Oodua Fm Ile Ife to make money. It is my biggest community development project,”

“If I had targeted money, the station would have been located in Lagos or Ibadan but as someone who loves his community dearly, I have chosen Ile Ife.”
