The Olowu of Kuta, Oba Adekunle Makama, Tegbosun 111, has congratulated the governor-elect of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory at the gubernatorial election held in the state over the weekend, AMILOADED reports.
The Osun monarch, in a statement he personally signed on Tuesday, urged Adeleke to be magnanimous in victory and ensure that his programmes will benefit all the residents of the state.
Oba Makama also commended the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, for his “diligent service to Osun state and prudent management of our meagre resources”
He further lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies that worked tirelessly for the hitch free election.
“And to you Osun people, let’s continue to support our political leaders and assist them in whatever capacity in order for them to succeed and move our dear state forward at every point in time,” the monarch said.
