The Old Students Association of Osogbo Muslim Grammar School is set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its Alma Mater.
In a release by Chairman, Planning Committee, Tunde Busari and made available to AMILOADED Media revealed that the old students of the school will hold motivational talks with students in day one, after which they will pay courtesy visit to the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun and Principal Emeritus, Alhaji Ajadi Badmus.
Day Two, holding at Fountain University, Osogbo, will witness public lecture to be delivered by Professor Richard Olaniyan who incidentally delivered lecture at the passing out of the school pioneer students in 1984.
Award presentations to founding fathers, cultural performance and election of executive will also feature after the lecture
“It is going to be a happy reunion to folks separated for a perid spanning over three decades.
“And we are determined to give back to the school which laid a foundation for whom we are today,” the release stated.
The famous MGS commenced academic session in September 1979, hence the anniversary scheduled for September 27 and 28.
