Police, Ogun State Command has arrested one 24 year old Ehioboh Lucky for impersonating Dr. Mike Adenuga on Monday.
Amiloaded gathered through a release signed by the Ogun state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi that the suspect was arrested following a complaint by one Abiola Olalekan Ogunseye whom the suspect defrauded up to the tune of #1,028,770.
It was learnt that the suspect who hails from Edo State opened a facebook account with the name and picture of the business mogul which he has been using to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The statement disclosed that the sum of #1,028,770 has so far been paid to suspect before the victim realized that he is a fraudster which made them lodged complain via a petition to the Commissioner of Police and Officer in charge of Anti Kidnapping and Cultism Csp Opeyemi Kujoore who was directed to go after the suspect.
After investigation, the suspect was said to have been apprehended on Monday 6th of November 2017 while one Iphone 6, one dell laptop, eight different Sims card, five different ATM cards and one international passport were recovered from him.
The Police however established that the suspect will be charge to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
