Obokun Chairman, Ogundipe, Commiserates With Amitolu Shittu Over Mother’s Death

The Chairman of Obokun Local Government, Hon. Maroof Ogundipe, has commiserated with the Field Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, over the demise of his Mother, Alhaja Ayisatu Abeo Morawo Shittu, who died last Saturday, AMILOADED reports.

Ogundipe commiserated with the Amotekun Corps Commander in a statement he personally signed and made available to AMILOADED on Monday.

The Chairman described the death of Alhaja Shittu as painful to him and difficult to believe at the moment.

Ogundipe stated, “On behalf of the government and the people of Obokun Local Government State of Osun, I condole with my leader, mentor and father on the demise of his mother, mama was a virtous woman who live a fulfill life that full of meritorious and selfless service to humanity by giving the world, a renown freedom fighter, social critics, human rights activist and security expert and lover of African culture which is Comrade Amitolu Shittu.

He further dealscribed the late mother of the Osun Amotekun Corps Commander as “a great champion, a legend, an ispiration to the world”, adding that Alhaja Shittu “eft behind a legacy that transcended borders and barriers, race and religion and had an impact on the lives of others”.

Ogundipe, therefore, prayed “Allah SWT grant Com. Shittu and his family Sabr in this difficult time.”
