The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Osun has told the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that the state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, takes the welfare of the state’s workforce as a priority.
This is contained in a statement issued signed by Kunle Oyatomi, the Director of APC’s Publicity, Research and Strategy which was made available to the AMILOADED on Thursday in Osogbo the state capital.
“No one needs to be told that Governor Oyetola is workers’ friendly and from the inception of his administration, he takes the welfare of Osun workforce a priority. Only those who do not know the notoriety of the PDP in Osun will believe the nonsense they are saying,” Oyatmi said.
The party’s statement is in response to the statement of Alhaji YK Idowu, on behalf of PDP, charging Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to be ‘moderate in the enslavement of Osun workers’.
In his response, Oyatomi said, ‘it is disrespectful and insulting for a house of commotion, like that of Osun PDP which in less than six months, had had four state chairmen, to advise the people’s Governor of Osun, in whom the citizenry show appreciation.
“It is laughable, to see a blind man driving a vehicle, conveying healthy people with visibilities. Osun workers have identified themselves with Gov. Oyetola who is a promise keeper and prudent manager of resources; he doesn’t just talk, he does what he says he will do,”
Oyatomi added that “if critics and political opponents are blind and deaf, the good people of Osun are more intelligent and responsible, who acknowledge and appreciate Gov Oyetola’s achievements in all ramifications.
